-scape

suffix
  1. indicating a scene or view of something, esp a pictorial representation: seascape

Collins English Dictionary – Complete & Unabridged 2012 Digital Edition

Investigating social, political, economic and environmental issues that affect people inevitably requires looking not just at the emotional and spiritual spaces that those people inhabit, but also at the physical spaces and surrounding environment. As a result, land-, sea- and cityscapes are an important storytelling device in my work.
